Web Analytics Academy Launches

The free courses, starting on 23 September, consist of three entry-level training sessions in web analytics. A fourth session provides an overview of Coremetrics technology, a real-life web analytics solution for interested parties.

With research from eMarketer showing that over 60 per cent of the population go online each month, the internet is clearly an important tool for marketers. However, many traditional marketers are unsure of the benefits of analytics and how it can be applied to their web and online marketing activities.

With many different products available today, it’s fundamental for marketers to understand the basics of web analytics to get the most out of whatever tools they are using. However simple or sophisticated the technology is, the data must be understood and interpreted correctly by marketers in order to make effective decisions.
